AFC Bournemouth will host Aston Villa
We are heading to the Vitality Stadium where AFC Bournemouth will host Aston Villa in a match from the 25th round of the Premier League. Our usual English Premier League predictions are about to follow, let’s take a look at them.
Bournemouth were in a terrible run of results, but in the previous round the club’s fans had a reason to smile again. The Cherries finally won a game when they hosted Brighton & Hove Albion at home. Pascal Gross from the visitors scored himself an own goal, while Bournemouth finished the Seagulls with goals from Harry Wilson and Callum Wilson.
This win could be really important for Bournemouth, because Eddie Howe’s team had some serious problems wit their lack of confidence lately. The club is still in the relegation zone, but at least the players now remembered how to win games.
Against Aston Villa the Cherries can’t use Joshua King, Jack Stacey, David Brooks and Charlie Daniels, who are all sidelined with injuries.
Aston Villa are in a similar situation at the moment, although they are currently not in the relegation zone. The club from Birmingham is 16th in the standings, but just two points above the line. They need points, that’s for sure.
In the previous round Aston Villa hosted Watford at home and despite of conceding first, they enjoyed a 2-1 win at the Villa Park. Aston Villa turned the game around in the last 20 minutes when Douglas Luiz and Tyrone Mings put the ball in the net.
For the next game Aston Villa can’t use Wesley, Jed Steer, Tom Heaton and John McGinn who are injured.
That’s our quick English Premier League predictions for the fixture between Bournemouth and Aston Villa on Saturday. Both teams won their last matches in the league, so it’d be interesting how they will perform during the weekend.
