Newcastle will try to keep Benitez

The Newcastle management hopes to keep manager Rafael Benitez next season. Club owner Mike Ashley will try to convince the Spanish specialist to stay in the club by providing him with a large selection in the summer.

Former Liverpool manager Real Madrid and Inter took Newcastle to 10th in the Premier League last season, with Chelsea winning 3-0 in the last game.

Benitez, who has a contract for another year, often criticizes the club’s transfer policy.
