Wenger misses Arsenal’s next three games
Arsene Wenger has received three games in which he will not be able to lead Arsenal from the coaching stadium. The Football Association of England (FA) imposed the sanction on the French language used in the dressing room after the meeting against West Bromwich on the last day of last year.
“He used abusive and inappropriate language that damages the dignity of judges,” the FA said. Wenger was angry at the penalty that West Bromwich received at the end of the match to equal the score. Besides the penalty of three matches, the Frenchman was fined and with £ 40,000 for his event.
