Arsenal hosts Liverpool

We are heading to the Emirates Stadium in London, because on Saturday Arsenal hosts Liverpool in the big derby of the 11th round of the English Premier League. Let’s take a look in our winning soccer predictions.

Arsenal’s flying run of 7 consecutive wins in the league was put to an end last week, when Unai Emery’s team surprisingly lost two points during the 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park. Arsenal had the lead in the scoreline, thanks to goals from Granit Xhaka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but Crystal Palace managed to equalize with a late penalty kick.

For the Gunners it was dissapointing to see their winning run being put to an end, but Arsenal are just 4 points behind the leader Manchester City, so the team is still in a pretty good position. What Arsenal must do now is continue winning.

Liverpool on the other hand are 2nd with 26 points, being on par with the leader Manchester City. So far Liverpool are unbeaten in the league, winning 8 games and doing 2 draws.

In their last fixture the Reds didn’t leave any chances to Cardiff City, beating them with 4-1 at the Anfield. The Senegalese winger Sadio Mane scored a brace, while Mohamed Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri also scored for Jurgen Klopp’s team.

Against Liverpool Arsenal’s manager Unai Emery can’t use the suspended Matteo Guendouzi, while Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Hector Bellerin, Sead Kolasinac and Nacho Monreal are all doubtful. The good news are that Laurent Koscielny recovered from his latest injury.

Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp can’t use the injured Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rhian Brewster, while Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita are still doubtful for the next match.
