Big wages cut Man United’s win
Manchester United reported a 1.7 percent drop in mainstream earnings for the final quarter of last year due to the huge wage bill in the club. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, and depreciation for the quarter to 31 December dropped to £ 67.8 million from £ 69 million a year ago.
However, the “red devils” remain profitable as revenues grew by 3.8 percent to £ 163.9 million for the second quarter of the 2017/18 financial year.
