The judging committee takes the hasty judge in France
Chief referee Tony Shapron will be investigated after kicking footballer Diego Carlos from Nantes in the French football match last night against Paris Saint-Germain. The jury will meet to examine the case and decide whether to impose a penalty on the arbiter.
The incident happened in the added time when, when sprinting, Shapron turned abruptly to Carlos, and after an involuntary contact between them he stumbled and fell. Seconds later, the judge stood up and showed Carlos’s second yellow and red card.
“I know that running a football match is difficult, but referees sometimes have to be held accountable for their actions, and if one of us does something like that, he will surely get 10 game penalties,” said Nanut Valanton Ronnie’s striker.
